"Syachiku" who devote all of their life to work, in Japan.
Today, I will speak "Syachiku" to you while eating this sweets.
Do you know "Syachiku(社畜)"?
I cannot translate into correct English,
Sya means Company,
chiku means livestock or cattle.
So "Syachiku" means the people who work so hard like cattle as company is instructed.
"Syachiku" works so hard and devotes everything of life to company that "Syachiku" works.
For them, most important thing is work, concentrating on work only, so all of their life is work.
If feel sick or even have a cold, they work from morning to night regardless.
Then, they always say
"I cannot anything to improve this situation"
"This is the job"
with dead face or eye.
So another name of "Syachiku" is "Living Dead" or "Working Dead".
For them, work is center of their lives, and they are afraid of lost job,
so they never talk back to their boss.
If boss say, "That Crow is transparent", "The earth is flat", "The moon is shining itself"
they say "Yes! I think so too!", "My boss is always right!"
So they already don't have brain that can judge what is correct.
And they say "I'm so busy", "This is my job", "I cannot change this situation.", everyday.
Then, hey don't have any future plan or vision, object of work, passion.
They feel job is only duty.
In Japanese summer, some typhoon come.
So sometime train delay occur and there are case of with a lot of rain.
It is dangerous to go out of building during typhoon is, but they have to go to work.
Even if typhoon come or any other natural disaster occurred, their head is full with work.
If the train they take on stopped by some trouble, they open the window, get out through the window, and walk toward their company on rail. (a true story)
So, There is only work in their brain!
Often full-time work means from 9:00 to 17:00, they don't have time concept.
Everyday, they works endlessly.
Sometime, drinking party is held.
It is not a party or relax time, to drink is work.
If they refuse of invitation, their boss say
"What? you cannot drink alcohol of my recommends? You disappointed me!"
So, for them, drinking party is really important work.
They have to pay attention boss's beer glass, with flatter boss.
If boss's glass is empty for 30 seconds, they should die!
After drink party, it is not end of work yet.
Next morning, they have to cling to boss and they must not think, but say
"Thank you for yesterday, I'm looking forward to next chance!" with faking smile.
As above,
"Syachiku" devote everything to work.
Oh, you want to be "Syachiku"?
Of course, I am not "Syachiku" and I can't endure.
I have a purpose of work or life and everyday, I spent good.
