Stock is not reaction by Gamer. Why Nintendo’s stock fell after news release of Nintendo Switch?



And after I watched the movie of new Nintendo Switch, I was so excited.



I am heavy gamer.

October 20, I prepared to watch the movie to finish all my jobs such as eating dinner and taking a bath.
I was stand-by at 10 minutes before.

Finally unveiled the new console of Nintendo!
I watched the movie having about 3 minutes, I though a several things.
First, I was shouted out when I saw the person playing Nintendo switch switched home console to handheld game.
“Oh!!!!oh,ooooooooooooooooooo!”

I was immersed the movie from start to end.
I feel like it is really incredible game console!

And I found new version of Splatoon and 3D Mario, and playing Skylim.
I cannot explain my emotion from bottom of my heart.
I really looking forward to 2017 March!

But….
This is the reaction by me as Gamer.





Next day of news release of Nintendo Switch, Nintendo’s stock fell.


Friday, next day, Nintendo’s stock fell at morning.
Nintendo’s stock was sold because New console Nintendo Switch disappointed investors and they think it wouldn’t success.
This is the reaction by investors.


Namely, it is not same people between gamer and investor.
So, the games that gamer think good and the one that investors think good is very different.

Although there are many kinds of gamer, some gamer think that Nintendo Switch is not good,
But there are other people that the one is good similar to me with really excitation.


When I think coolly, Wii U have also 2screen similar to Nintendo Switch, and
In case of using outside, it is similar to 3DS.

Now I almost cannot found that only Nintendo Switch can do.
We can take out high quality home console game to out?

I guess Gamer must understand and sympathize emotion when I saw Nintendo Switch first.
I want to touch it and to play.

But, investors cannot understand this.




Investor cannot found new element in Nintendo Switch compared to PlayStation VR


Recently PlayStation VR is started to sell.

Because PS VR has recent technology Virtual Reality,
We can easily found a new element and value to experience VR.
This could be understood easily by investors not gamer.
Gamer cannot find value if game is not funny although latest technology in.

From investor’s perspective,
PSVR provide a new value using VR, and
Nintendo Switch has no new element.

This comparison lead to us that Nintendo Switch is disappointed us.


But,
It is too fast to determine Nintendo Switch is not good.




Let’s cheer Nintendo Switch with confidence.

Only gamer can feel this exciting emotion.
Even if friends or other people say it is not good or Nintendo’s stock fell,
Let’s cheer Nintendo Switch and looking forward to release date!

ゲーマーの私は、ニンテンドースイッチを見て、素直にワクワクした






任天堂Switchの情報公開があった10月20日の木曜日、僕は仕事を終えて帰って家に帰り、


晩御飯や風呂などのすべての用事を終えて、22時50分にはスタンバイし、23時をそわそわ


しながら待っていました。




そして、23時！

約3分間の動画を見て・・・・
まず最初に、大画面でプレイしてる姿から手元のパッドに切り替えたときに
「おおおおおおおおおおおおおおおおおおおおお！！！！！！！！！！
と声を出してしまいましたね。笑




そして、3分間、かじりついて見ていました。
なんて楽しそう、なんてワクワクするゲーム機なんだ・・・！

スプラトゥーンはおそらく新作(髪型・武器・ステージから判断)、
3Dのマリオも見たこと無いステージが登場しましたね。
そのほか、スカイリムをプレイする姿も映っていて、
本当、最新ハードの初お披露目兼、ソフトにも注目してしまいました。

とにかく、得体の知れないワクワク感でした。
これは2017年の3月が楽しみ！！！







で、これは、ゲーマーである私の反応です。











翌日の任天堂株は暴落



翌日の金曜日、任天堂の株は朝一番から暴落しましたね。



ニンテンドースイッチは期待はずれ、売れないと思われ、
投資家達は任天堂の株を売ったのでしょう。

これが、投資家の反応です。







つまり、ゲームを買って楽しむ人と、任天堂の株を買う投資家は
別であるケースが多く、



ゲーマーが思う、「このゲームわくわくする！やりたい！」
と思うゲームと、
投資家が思う、「このゲームは売れる！」
と思うゲームには、

ずいぶんと乖離があるということです。







ゲーマーにもいろんなゲーマーがいるので、



このニンテンドースイッチの動画を見て、
「おもんなさそ」
って思った人もいるとは思いますが、
私と同じように、得体の知れないわくわく感に心が躍った人もたくさんいるはず。



冷静に考えると、テレビと手元の2画面で遊ぶのなら現行機種のWiiUでも出来るし、
持ち出して外で遊ぶなら3DSがあります。



Wii Uや3DSと比べて、ニンテンドースイッチにしかできない事
を考えると、実はあんまりありませんね。


据え置きクオリティのゲームを外に持ち出せる、ぐらいですか。




そうなると、ニンテンドースイッチは現行の機種との明確な差別化は
出来ておらず、ニンテンドースイッチが提供する価値も、一見これまでと同じように見えます。







でも、ゲーマーならきっと分かるはず。

それでもなぜか、わくわくするんですよ。触ってみたいんですよ。





この気持ちが投資家にはきっと理解できないのでしょうね。





投資家から見ると、PSVRと比較して真新しさがない



最近初日されたPSVRを比較対象にするとなおさら、上の思考は強まってしまいますよね。



PSVRはVRという最新テクノロジーを利用して、
仮想現実をプレイヤーに体験させるという、あたらしい「価値」があるように見えます。
最新のテクノロジーでゲームに新しい体験を、新しい価値を提供する、っていう
ゲームをしない投資家から見て、分かりやすい構造なんです。



ゲーマーの気持ちとしては、最新テクノロジーのVRをゲームに使われたとしても、
ゲームとして面白くなければ「価値」にならないんですが。
おもしろいっぽいですけど。笑



投資家の目線で見ると、
PSVRは最新テクノロジーで新しい価値を提供
ニンテンドースイッチはこれまでのハードと比べて真新しさが無く、新たに提供する価値は無い

こう対比して見てしまってると思うんですよね。







だから、「期待はずれ」という事で、任天堂の株は売られ、暴落、という事なのでしょう。



でもね、



ニンテンドースイッチが期待はずれだと決めるのは、早いですよ。

まわりの人にゴミハードだって叩かれたとか、なにも面白くなさそうじゃんとか言われたとか、

そんなもんに惑わされず、ニンテンドースイッチを楽しみに、待ちましょう！

新規事業の担当者達は給料泥棒なのか？

The person was commanded to work to launch new business,
but failed,
that case, is the person thief of salary?

大学を出て日本のメーカーに入社して、研修を終えた後に新規事業担当になり、

数年間がんばったが、結局事業にできず、チームは解散。

よくある話だと思うのですが、
このとき、

「何年もかけて、研究費もいっぱいかけて、結局リターンなしかよ！」

「その間、誰がおまえらの給料分を稼いだと思っているんだ！」

「もはや給料泥棒や！」

こんな事を言われると、罪悪感を感じてしまいますよね・・・。


After graduated from a university,
and enter the Japanese manufacturing company,
and take charge of launching of new business.
But, several years later, the business was stopped.
This is the old story in Japan.
But then, we might be said
"You put many years and money, why you got no money?"
"While you put effort in that work, we earn the money of your!"
"You are thief of salary!!!!"

and, we get sad and feel a sense of guilt.

僕もそうです。

何年も新規事業をやっていますが、儲けにつなげられていません。

In my work,

I work several years, but now my business have not succcessed.

さらに、

「今回、新規事業でみにつけたスキルを活かして、新しい会社で

またチャレンジするつもりんんです！」

なんて言おうものなら、

「は？やめんの？恩返ししろよ！」

みたいな、もはや裏切り者のような扱いになりますよね。

新規事業をがんばる事ってダメな事だったのかとさえ思うレベル。

Further, if we say
"I got a skill of launching new business in this time.
I will success at next company, so I wanted to challenge!"

we must be said
"What!!!!???? You want to leave this company? 
No, You have to return the favor to us!"

We feel that even we are traitor.
We may think my job is no worth.

でも、でもでも、新規事業を一生懸命やった事に対して、

そこまで、罪悪感とか責任感を感じる必要はないんじゃないかな・・・。

たしかに、結果的に会社の利益に貢献できなかったとはいえ、

新しい事業をやることは絶対必要なことで、

会社にとって必要なことをしっかりやったんだから、

決して泥棒でもなければ裏切り者でもないですよ。


But, we should not feel a sense of guilt or responsibility about we put effort in my job.

Although we could not earn money and contribute our company,
it is absolutely necessary to try launching new business.
We did really important work for our company,
so we are not traitor or thief of salary.

こういう発言が飛び出す原因は、日本の会社の新規事業に対する

間違った考え方からくるんじゃないでしょうか。

That thinking arise because of misunderstandings for new business by Japan company.






「新規事業は成功するまでやめられない」

とか

「新規事業はぜったい失敗しないように、絶対に勝てる計画をたてた上で行う」

とか。

新規事業をたちあげるって、うまくいかない事のほうが多いし、

いろいろ試してダメな方向もあればいける方向もあり、

みたいなのがやり方なんですが。

Many case of launching new business will fail, and
the number of fail cases is more than success case.
So, "one direction is good but another direction is fail" is
 likely.

哺乳類みたいな1匹生んで、1匹を絶対死なせずに育てる、

みたいな失敗が許されない風潮が、

「投資を無駄にした！」

「まだ儲けに繋げないのか！」

「いつまで待たせるんだ！」

みたいなことを言う思考回路にさせるんじゃないかな。


A trend cannot be forgiven 
just like Mammalia that bear a baby and grow only one child 
causes misunderstandings, 

"You wasted invest!"
"Yet you cannot earn?"
"How long do I have to wait?"

まだ何もできていないフィールドで事業を立ち上げようとする事は、

ホントに大変です。

手探りで、知恵をしぼって、死力をつくして、

結果ダメだった・・・

そうやってやってきた人たちに対して、「給料泥棒」とか言って非難する事は、

正気じゃ言えないと思うんですがね。

We have to repeat trying and error with our best.
But, in launching new business, even if we did my best,
we might fail.

But, if a person who know this real,

October 21, 2:07 PM,
Magnitude 6.2 earthquake occurred at Tottori Prefecture.
When I was working at my desk using computer,
I received earthquake alert in my smartphone with very big sound.

10月21日の14時7分に鳥取でマグニチュード6.2の地震がありましたね。
パソコンで仕事しているときに、スマホに地震速報がはいりました。超でかい音で。



Then, in the room, there were only me and a Taiwanese man who cannot
speak Japanese.
So, I said
I "Hey, I received earthquake alert!"
He "? I have not...."
I "Earthquake will come! We have to escape or defense!"

Then, we felt shaking.

そのとき、部屋には僕ともう一人、日本語の話せない台湾人だけがいたので、とっさにその台湾人に、地震速報がきたことを
英語で伝えました。
でも、その台湾人の携帯には地震速報はきていないようで、あまりピンときてませんでした。そういうやりとりしてるうちに、地震が来てしまいました。


Because my workplace is 8 floor, shaking is so big and scared!

仕事場は8階なので、ゆら～っと長い揺れで、超こわかったです。




Earthquake alert should be used as sign
that we open the door to run away, put out a fire, and protect my body.

地震速報を受信したら、ふつう、逃げるためにドアをあけたり、火を消したり、
体を守ったりするべきですよね。




There are a little seconds after receiving that alert,
in that sort time, we have to protect my life.

地震速報を受信してから地震が来るまではほんの数秒です。




Although it is so important time, I used that time to practice English.

そんな大切な大切な数秒を、英語の練習につかってしまいました。笑

Good games have Ending and profitable games have no Ending.

I defined Game as "The thing we can participate intenty and make us fun all the time"

And, to watch recent games, I found rule that "Good games have Ending and profitable games have no Ending."


Most of profitable game is found at mobile game.


It is free to play, but if we want to play fully, we have to pay much money.

But even we can play fully it is not fun but simply work.

And because that games have no ending, player have to pay money forever.

It is not Game!


On the other hand,
Good game have endings.

Such as The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Kirby, Donkey kong, and other games probided console

have ending.

We pay money one time only when we purchase software.

We can get really funny time to play all the time to ending.

But, if we want to play such console game, we have to buy console at first.

Because of it's expensiveness, we have barrier to play.

So, people is prefer to play mobile free game to console game.

So, the rules occuer that Good games have Ending and profitable games have no Ending.

But I say with big voice
Good game is provided by console!

Countermeasure to escape bird dropping from Sky.

I was hitted bird dropping!


Last week, when I was walking to go to work on the street near the station,

I was hitted bird dropping to my right shoulder!

When I noticed that, I found a public toilet in front of me.

Soon, I enterd that and I confiremed my shoulder by mirror.

Certainly, it is bird dropping.

I taked off my shirt and washed.

When I was washing my shirt, I was talking to myself "Shit!".

Then, people entered toilet found me and immediately return to out.

They would see me as stranger.


Countermesure to escape bird dropping


Next day, when I was walking same place,
I observed upper sky and near buildings
because I find countermeasure to escape bird dropping.


But, I could find...
Sky.
Only blue sky.


No electric cable and buildings that bird can rest.



So.....
I cannnot make strategy to escape bird dropping.


Conversly, it is incredible possibility, that walking people was hitted bird dropping by flying bird.

I have a strong luck?

Pokemon Go is not "Game" but "Competition".

My Level of Pokemon Go is now 21.

Recently I feel that

Pokemon Go is not "Game" but "Competition".

I love "Game" and I play many games by dedicated game console such as Nintendo 3DS, WiiU and so on.

Of course, downloaded and play Pokemon Go, but I feel “This is not Game”.

Although there are many definition of Game,

I define Game as “The thing we can participate intently and make us fun all the time.”

When I chose new game to play next, I always apply this define.

If I apply one to Pokemon Go, is it Game?

My answer is No.

Pokemon Go has another value from the game I chose to play.

Pokemon Go has value to gather Pokemon going to various place.

We can feel the presence of Pokemon, real world.

This is huge value.

But, Is people playing Pokemon Go really fun during all the time of playing?

I found very strong Pokemon at many place, but people having one only do “Competitioon”.

Only to victory other people, they are training and capturing more strong one with a lot of walking and spending huge time.

But, is it fun to play?

Of course, I can understand that it is very glad to victory other people. 

But does they have fu all the time?

I guess they put effort to victory, but is “Effort” necessary in playing game?

If we have one, we can get Pokemon automatically and don’t have to watch screen.

Automatically?

Is it fun to get Pokemon automatically?

This is the evidence Pokemon Go is not “Game” but “Competition”.

Pokemon Go has both aspect of “Game” and “Competition”.

I play Pokemon Go with fun, and I play one as “Game”, not “Competition”.

I ate Ramen 10/1 special day of Tenka-ippin.

On October 1, I went to "Tenka ippin"(天下一品) to eat Ramen.

Tenka ippin is a chain store of Ramen, and headquarter is in Kyoto.


And, on October 1 is a special day.
If we eat a Ramen, we will get a free ticket of a Ramen!

Why is October 1?

Tenka-ippin is called "Tenichi".

Ten is 10.
And in Japanese, ichi is 1.

So, 10/1 is a special day.


I ate Ramen and got a free ticket!


Of course, Ramen of Tenichi is really delicious!

From Tenichi side,
this free ticket may reduce their benefits.

But, I think it is a good commercial for people to get habit of going Tenichi.


Next year, I will go.

Look at this!

Today, Kyoto tower is red.





Always, Kyoto tower is this color.

But today, I found Kyoto tower is turned red.

And I don't understand why today, the one is red.

I guess there are some reason.


I heard that some kind of memorial day, Kyoto tower turned other color such as blue or purple.


I cannot understand the reason why today, red, 
but it is good.
