Is the employee who fail to launch new businesses in company Thief of Salary?

会社の命令(辞令)で新規事業を担当して、儲けに繋げられなかったとき、

新規事業の担当者達は給料泥棒なのか？

The person was commanded to work to launch new business,
but failed,
that case, is the person thief of salary?

大学を出て日本のメーカーに入社して、研修を終えた後に新規事業担当になり、

数年間がんばったが、結局事業にできず、チームは解散。

よくある話だと思うのですが、
このとき、

「何年もかけて、研究費もいっぱいかけて、結局リターンなしかよ！」

「その間、誰がおまえらの給料分を稼いだと思っているんだ！」

「もはや給料泥棒や！」

こんな事を言われると、罪悪感を感じてしまいますよね・・・。


After graduated from a university,
and enter the Japanese manufacturing company,
and take charge of launching of new business.
But, several years later, the business was stopped.
This is the old story in Japan.
But then, we might be said
"You put many years and money, why you got no money?"
"While you put effort in that work, we earn the money of your!"
"You are thief of salary!!!!"

and, we get sad and feel a sense of guilt.

僕もそうです。

何年も新規事業をやっていますが、儲けにつなげられていません。

In my work,

I work several years, but now my business have not succcessed.

さらに、

「今回、新規事業でみにつけたスキルを活かして、新しい会社で

またチャレンジするつもりんんです！」

なんて言おうものなら、

「は？やめんの？恩返ししろよ！」

みたいな、もはや裏切り者のような扱いになりますよね。

新規事業をがんばる事ってダメな事だったのかとさえ思うレベル。

Further, if we say
"I got a skill of launching new business in this time.
I will success at next company, so I wanted to challenge!"

we must be said
"What!!!!???? You want to leave this company? 
No, You have to return the favor to us!"

We feel that even we are traitor.
We may think my job is no worth.

でも、でもでも、新規事業を一生懸命やった事に対して、

そこまで、罪悪感とか責任感を感じる必要はないんじゃないかな・・・。

たしかに、結果的に会社の利益に貢献できなかったとはいえ、

新しい事業をやることは絶対必要なことで、

会社にとって必要なことをしっかりやったんだから、

決して泥棒でもなければ裏切り者でもないですよ。


But, we should not feel a sense of guilt or responsibility about we put effort in my job.

Although we could not earn money and contribute our company,
it is absolutely necessary to try launching new business.
We did really important work for our company,
so we are not traitor or thief of salary.

こういう発言が飛び出す原因は、日本の会社の新規事業に対する

間違った考え方からくるんじゃないでしょうか。

That thinking arise because of misunderstandings for new business by Japan company.






「新規事業は成功するまでやめられない」

とか

「新規事業はぜったい失敗しないように、絶対に勝てる計画をたてた上で行う」

とか。

新規事業をたちあげるって、うまくいかない事のほうが多いし、

いろいろ試してダメな方向もあればいける方向もあり、

みたいなのがやり方なんですが。


"We must not stop launching new business until success."
"We must built a plan absolutely win"

Many case of launching new business will fail, and
the number of fail cases is more than success case.
So, "one direction is good but another direction is fail" is
 likely.

哺乳類みたいな1匹生んで、1匹を絶対死なせずに育てる、

みたいな失敗が許されない風潮が、

「投資を無駄にした！」

「まだ儲けに繋げないのか！」

「いつまで待たせるんだ！」

みたいなことを言う思考回路にさせるんじゃないかな。


A trend cannot be forgiven 
just like Mammalia that bear a baby and grow only one child 
causes misunderstandings, 

"You wasted invest!"
"Yet you cannot earn?"
"How long do I have to wait?"

まだ何もできていないフィールドで事業を立ち上げようとする事は、

ホントに大変です。

手探りで、知恵をしぼって、死力をつくして、

結果ダメだった・・・

そうやってやってきた人たちに対して、「給料泥棒」とか言って非難する事は、

正気じゃ言えないと思うんですがね。

It is so difficult to launch new business.
We have to repeat trying and error with our best.
But, in launching new business, even if we did my best,
we might fail.

But, if a person who know this real,
cannot say "thief of salary".
